About MacMuse
MacMuse makes small, native apps for the Mac. Each one does a single job, and tries to do it so quietly that you forget it’s there until you need it.
What we’ve made
- Snug: An auto-tiling window manager. Every window you open finds its place, plug in a display and your desk comes back, and you rearrange it all with the mouse. $14.99 once, macOS 15 or later.
- Beckon: Press ⌥⇧Space in any app and a bar rises with what you’re looking at already attached. Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT and more answer right in the bar. $39 once, macOS 26 Tahoe or later.
How we build
- Native. Swift and Apple’s frameworks, no Electron. Small downloads, low memory, nothing running when there’s nothing to do.
- Pay once. No subscriptions. Every 1.x update is included.
- No accounts. A license key, and that’s it.
- Private. No analytics in the apps. Each app’s privacy page lists exactly what it reads and every network request it makes.
